Search stays in your browser
Guide search uses a static index downloaded from this site. Your query appears in the page address so that Back and shared links can restore it. It may therefore appear in browser history and hosting request logs when that address is opened. No search provider or analytics service receives your query from this site.
Planning and accounts
This site has no signup form or visitor account system. The budget worksheet keeps working figures on the current page until you explicitly save a named scenario in My Trip. Saved scenarios contain your costs, party size and any applied route allocation and nightly quotes. They follow My Trip’s tab or browser storage choice and are included in planning-sheet downloads and printouts; they are not sent to a server. Loading or editing a scenario does not change your saved route. Leaving or reloading may clear unsaved worksheet figures.
Your trip stays in your browser
My Trip keeps saved guide IDs, comparison choices, route stops and nights, and notes in this tab’s session by default. Your notes and stored trip are not submitted to a server. Route edits stay on the current page until you save them to My Trip; route details are not put in the page address. Opening a destination comparison puts two public guide IDs in the page address; those IDs may appear in browser history and hosting logs. Budget comparison choices stay on the current page and never enter the address. Choosing “Keep this trip on this browser” saves the trip in local browser storage for later visits. You can remove items or clear the trip. Browser storage is not encrypted by Maroc.net: anyone using the same browser profile may be able to read it.
Your destination choices
The destination chooser works in your browser. Submitted nights, pace and interests appear in the page address so that reload and Back can restore them. These choices may appear in browser history and hosting request logs when the address is opened. The chooser does not put your My Trip notes or saved trip into that address, and changing chooser answers does not change your saved places.
Exporting and printing your trip
Trip exports and printouts leave out personal notes unless you explicitly choose to include them. PDF planning sheets are created in your browser; your trip is not sent to a PDF service. They include all saved budget scenarios and, when two are selected in My Trip, their comparison. An exported file or printout may contain your selected guides and source links; once you share it, its recipients can read what you included. Browser storage and downloaded files are separate: clearing your trip does not delete an exported file.
Optional Google Analytics
On maroc.net, Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. It measures public page visits and uses analytics cookies to distinguish browsers. Google may process device, browser and approximate location information. Advertising features and enhanced measurement are off. We exclude search and private planning pages, omit URL query strings and fragments, and send only the origin of a referring site. We do not send private notes, route details, budgets or search terms. Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change it; choosing No thanks stops measurement and removes our analytics cookies. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to this page only. Without JavaScript, analytics does not run.
Hosting and external links
Cloudflare serves this site; development previews have restricted access. The hosting provider may process request and access logs. Following source links takes you to other services with their own policies.
